MIX #9: Chhayapraan Bonobeethitole by NIKHIL RAHMAN

For our second anniversary issue, musician and filmmaker Nikhil Rahman created the playlist “Chhayapraan Bonobeethitole.” (1 hr 28 min.)

For Issue 07, poet, writer, and Small World City’s newest recruit Asmita Mehefin created the playlist, “flowers that never get any sun” (3 hr 35 min.)



MIX #6: woven together like love letters — beats for you by J0N4K1 [জোনাকি]

For Issue 06, J0N4K1, is a DJ and visual artist emerging from the underground scene in Dhaka, created the mix “woven together like love letters — beats for you.” A glimmer of light, pacing through downtempo UKG, IDM, and ambient soundscapes. (23 min.)

“With J0N4K1, we prepare ourselves to dip into the sonic waves of shimmering synths, where syncopated percussions and clutching baselines lead you to nurtured gardens of uncharted auditory realms. Her sets come across as poems written in breakbeats and contemporary UK experimentation. This is where cocoons come undone.

MIX #5: ☆mind on a beryl leash☆ by SARAF

For our anniversary issue, multidisciplinary designer and practicing linguist SARAF created the mix, “☆mind on a beryl leash☆” (33 min.)

“This mix is solely for Small World City. It is a hymn to listen if you must detach yourself from worldly thoughts, once and after you have irrigated your psyche with the proses from Issue 05.”


MIX #4: APPROVAL FROM MY VEILED MISTRESS by SARAF

For Issue 04, multidisciplinary designer and practicing linguist SARAF created the playlist, “approval from my veiled mistress” (1 hr 50 min.)
